For those who have elected to take the blue pill, Texas is a wonderfully supportive environment for living in the Matrix. It hasn't changed much at all since I left 11 years ago, altho there are many more SUVs and cardiac treatment centers than I can previously recall. Lots of people here still treat the planet like a garbage can, assumptions about God and his alleged neo-conservative opinions are the subject of bumper stickers and billboards, and there are many here who maintain that our "fearless leader" is doing the right thing by our country. I told my boss that I would need May 1st off for a religious holiday and I thought she was going to have a stroke. Yet in the Bay Area, nobody gave it a second thought when I said I take Oct 31st and Nov 1st off for the same reason.

I prefer the reality of the red pill, but that said, I am enjoying the thunderstorms and being with my niece and nephew on a daily basis.

Trey, thanks for the info on your camp. Anything that incorporates the words "psychedelic" and "teahouse" sounds like a right fabulous place to check out. ;-)

As usual a ticket manifested itself for me so yes, I will be there. I will be in camp GDI unless someone else snags me first.
