approprately placed upon the Playa this year will be a giant 2 story bottle of ketchup serving french frys after dark to fellow burners....
I believe it will be near center camp.. but won't be hard to miss.....

I'm so excited! I'm starting to collect supplies and finding some peeps who are so kind to loan stuff to me. So far I gots:
tent
pop up shade structure - yeah baby!
fur coat
camelback - need bladder, have REI gift card to cover that cost!
I have lots of the incidental small stuff. It's the major camping shenanigans that I need.
Plus funds to join a camp so I dont have to worry bout packing up loads of food, ice, coolers, etc. Then I can just go with snack bars, fruit, veggie snax, etc. Maybe bring 1 cooler for veggies.
The plan is to BE THERE!
Put me in your prayers for fund manifestation if you wouldn't mind.
If all goes as desired, I'll be meeting you all at the huge phallic ketchup bottle either Tues or Wed!!

Wed, July 23, 2008 - 9:53 PMI gotta warn you about the pop-ups.....I don't know how industrial it is, but if it's not, I've seen many a structure go down fast in 70 mile per hour winds. I recommend candy caned rebar to use as stakes. Though there may be something on the market that may work now a days, rebar is actually pretty cheep.
This will be my first burn as a single person. I'm newly divorced.
My first burn was ten years ago but I missed a few years so this will be my eighth burn coming up. -

Sorry peeps! My burn started with lots of challenges like that, but turned out to be a very thoughtful and peaceful burn for me...not at all what I had anticipated for this year, but totes great! -
