Why is it so hard to find a great guy with a passionate heart and a creative soul here in Portland?
In fear of sounding like a spoiled child... I will state my needs anyway! Pay attention to me!

Sat, October 13, 2007 - 9:28 AMNeedle in a hay stack, darling. Try looking for the same thing in Boise! As I get older, I get pickier. I used to want a cute girl that had some smarts. Now she has to ski, bike, burn, dance, have an education, not be too career oriented, want a family and like my dog. It helps that my dog is great, but still, self selection bias towards single! -

Tue, October 16, 2007 - 2:35 AMYeah... I'm whining from a small bout of loneliness but I think I have self selected single as well. I find that
I complain that I can't find a guy I want but the guys that want me are not good enough! Makes me wonder if
my standards are too high. I don't like the idea of settling!
I want similar stuff. New traits: Must be cute, smart, creative, a burner, can pay his own bills, social... and a non smoker!
haha... guys with dogs that are good with cats go to the front of the line!

Sun, October 14, 2007 - 8:07 PMOn the path to a good man you must have a clear vision of what that man will be. Every man you meet you must look at very closely and without judgement and be careful not to project what you want him to be over what he really is. Look for a friend and try not to have any expectations of him. He may not look anything like you tought he would but once you have found him you will think this is what you were looking for all along. Do not give up. -

Sun, October 14, 2007 - 9:07 PMI have a new favorite book, Gena-- "the Four Man Plan" by Cindy Lu. add a . com to the title and check out her site-- I think your perceptions about men (in Portland or otherwize) and dating will shift like mine did if you check out her math.. good luck! :)
